We reported a couple of days ago about AT&T’s announcement, in which they stated that the new LG Nitro HD smartphone would be released on their 4G LTE network from the 4th of December. This must have taken the wind out of LG’s sails slightly as they were yet to pull the covers off their latest device.

Two of the major smartphone players at the present time are that of the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Motorola’s Droid RAZR. Whilst the big red US carrier Verizon are still waiting for the Galaxy Nexus to arrive (rumored Dec 8th), Motorola has been stealing a little of the limelight with their new Droid 4 rumored to be coming this month. Although in specs it’s fairly similar to the RAZR, it does have the appeal of a slide-out keyboard.

The HTC Rezound touts the use of Beats Audio and in fact comes with Beats Audio headphones supplied with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset, so when it comes to sound you’d think it would bbe pretty good; however it appears that numerous complaints are arising that the HTC Rezound is experiencing sound issues when using the headphones.
