Verizon Galaxy Nexus gets dedicated release date site

Obviously over in the good old US of A, the Big Red have for a while been giving potential customers a bit of a run-around over just when the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone will come out to play with numerous release date being rumoured that have come and gone and still no release of the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich handset stateside.

For all you Android faithful over in the good old US of A you’ll probably know the smartphone/tablet hybrid Samsung Galaxy Note hit the Federal Communications Commission some time ago, well now the word is the Galaxy Note has now receiver the official stamp of approval from the FCC, which means the Android device should be coming out to play soon.

Two of the major smartphone players at the present time are that of the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Motorola’s Droid RAZR. Whilst the big red US carrier Verizon are still waiting for the Galaxy Nexus to arrive (rumored Dec 8th), Motorola has been stealing a little of the limelight with their new Droid 4 rumored to be coming this month. Although in specs it’s fairly similar to the RAZR, it does have the appeal of a slide-out keyboard.

This year has been the time for Samsung to outshine the majority of its competitors, from Apple, Motorola, HTC and even LG. Three big favourite smartphones to come out of 2011 will be that of the Samsung Galaxy S II, the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Nexus. Just the other day, we reported that South Korean company Samsung had to adjust their yearly figures as previous targets had already been smashed.

Although HTC’s Sensation smartphone unfortunately arrived before the company acquired Beats by Audio technology from Dr.Dre, consumers are still purchasing the phone, and newer HTC models that of the XE and XL are now also pulling in the customers. In relation to the original Sensation, we have some good news to speak of with the lead up to Christmas.
