T-Mobile G1

T-Mobile G1 is an amazing addition to the concept of ‘Googlephone’. Apparently, the user might feel that there is a lack of design in the device. The styling is a bit peculiar, considering the fact that there is a conscious attempt to stay farther from the trend. This is rather paradoxical as there are a host of attractive features embedded within this outwardly simple device. There is a sort of charm and the look can be defined as a retro-futuristic one. The edges are kept smooth and round and this also presents a very user-friendly appearance. Its obvious design partner is Google and then, there is HTC, it presents a single button that is simple to operate but the functionality is not compromised.

The phone is not really sleek and its thickness is 0.62 inches. The body is of matte finish and gives a warm feeling to your hand as you hold it. It weighs 5.57 ounces and you have a touch-screen LCD that is of a high capacity. There is a trackball and five hard buttons at the bottom of the device. They are the end/power, back, home, send and a ‘menu’ button that is located at the top of your screen.
